The reviewer thinks that while the new 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro is a great computer, there is no reason to buy it due to the existence of the MacBook Air and the 14-inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro. The design is outdated, and the MacBook Air has similar specifications at a lower price. The MacBook Pro M2's only advantage is its active cooling system, which is only necessary for heavy workloads. The battery life is excellent, but it's not worth sacrificing everything else. The ideal customer is someone who needs slightly better sustained performance than the MacBook Air and is willing to sacrifice other features. Overall, the MacBook Pro M2 is not worth the money, and the reviewer wants to see a new design.
