Meritmeter is the only video reviews platform that does not use 5-stars grading system to score reviews, instead it is uses three merit grades; low, medium, high meter system to make it easy for reviewers to judge their personal experiences and also to make their reviews more user-intuitive for online viewers so they can make a better on purchasing a consumer electronics product compared to the 5-star system.
Meritmeter uses these three colors for product overall merits rating, Green for High merits, Yellow for Medium merits, Red for Low merits , it is that simple.
Each bubble represents each individual product review merit rating. For instance, a green bubble review means that reviewer has rated this product with high merits, and yellow means that reviewer has rated the product with medium merits, and the red means the reviewer has rated the product with low merits.

If you cannot find your product, you have a great chance to be the first to add your product to the platform, so just click on add product, fill the add product form and hit submit. Yes! We want the other users to able to vote on your review and add comments as their opinions may sway the review merits and the overall product merits. Reviewers will have the chance to reply back on those comments and even answer any of the users questions. Guess what! You will also receive credits for replying and answering questions.
You can use any video digital camera to record your video. You can start by introducing yourself, introducing the product you are reviewing and why you bought the product, and then share your experience using this product, and at the end, share your opinion about the product and if you would recommend it to your friends.
Yes, that's why we call it transcript. You can prepare your transcript before the video recording so you can read through it during the recording, it will make your review structured better and you will get more votes on your review.
First, you need to sign to the platform to upload the video, either by Facebook or twitter, OR you can create your own profile on the platform. After that, search for the product name and click add review bubble. Then you can upload the video file, add rate the product on the five metrics below.

We want to give each user a chance to communicate with the product manufacturer privately and to say what they wish the product should have, it can be a new feature they wish it had, or they may ask for better warranty terms or even better price, the sky is limit. In this tab, you can write your review in a text format, we know that you already did the video review, but this is another way to say your opinion for the users who still like to read text after viewing the video. Remember, Meritmeter believes in no borders and it is for all any where users they are and whoever they are.
Just move the mouse pointer to your username on the top left corner of the web page and you will see a drop down menu which has profile on it. Click on profile and you will see all your video reviews under reviews tab and you will see other users' comments under messages tab. In addition, you can check your accumulated credits under your profile photo.
Meritmeter allows users to sign in by Facebook or twitter or Meritmeter credentials, or they can register and create their own profile using Facebook or twitter or Meritmeter registration process. The moment they register, they do not need to sign in with Facebook or twitter, they can use their new Meritmeter profile credentials to sign in.
No, you do not need to sign in to watch the video reviews and read the merits and the comments.
The profile allows the users to update their personal information, to increase their user credibility which can affect their reviews score weights, and they can see all their video reviews that they posted online with their color grades, and communicate with other users on Meritmeter.
Twitter does not share with us the user email address, and because Meritmeter is built on enforcing credibility, we need to verify the user email address and to allow the platform to inform those users of any messages they will receive from other users and reviewers and to keep them up to date on any of changes in the platform. That's why we need to register twitter users email addresses.
Those are used by the users who view the review and they would like to vote, comment or ask questions to the reviewer. All their comments and questions will be collected under the messages tab for each review. And yes, you can ask questions and your questions may get answered by the reviewer.

Yes, you will. The review merit weight will be affected when users vote with agree or disagree on the review. You do not need to think about how the system does it; it is all complex and proprietary.
