The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook is a mid-range Chromebook that offers higher-end components for the price. It has a fair selection of ports and a long update life ahead of it with updates to Chrome OS until June 2029. The keyboard deck and trackpad are average and could use improvement. The screen is a full HD IPS touchscreen, and the performance with the AMD 3015c processor and 8 gig of RAM is snappy. The battery life may be slightly shorter, but the higher RAM offers future-proofing and good gaming performance. The physical webcam privacy slider is a nice touch, and the upward firing speakers are convenient but lack quality. Overall, a great value for the price.
