The M2 Max MacBook Pro is a great machine that is essentially identical to its predecessor on the outside but has sizable improvements with the new chip inside, M2 Pro and M2 Max. It boasts a 20% improvement in CPU performance and 30% better GPU performance. The additional efficiency cores are great for battery life and the new maximum of 96 gigs of shared memory is notable. The WiFI 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and HDMI 2.1 capabilities are welcomed. The laptop's design is top-notch and easy to maintain, making it worth the price. The reviewer suggests that the target market for this laptop is individuals who have an older laptop or who require a 30% more powerful machine.
