While the PlayStation 4 is still a fully capable console and can play most of the latest and greatest titles, it's not currently worth buying brand new due to the difficulty in finding stock and the better value offered by the PlayStation 5. The PS4 is set to remain relevant for the next couple of years, but for those who already own one and can't upgrade just yet, they can still enjoy the vast library of games available and the overall great experience of the console. However, the lack of 4K video output on the PS4 Slim is a letdown.
