The reviewer, Danny, compared the Eclipse 3 and the Stan Moore Generation 2 speakers by listening to a song on both. He noted that the Stan Moore had a buttery smooth sound with strong bass, while the Eclipse 3 had a quick attack and shimmery quality. Both speakers did justice to the song, but the Eclipse 3 had a tendency for notes to fall off quickly. Overall, Danny found both speakers to be beautiful and the decision between them difficult.
