The 2020 MacBook Air with the new M1 chip offers improved performance, especially for Apple's stock apps. It has a familiar design and comes with a Magic Keyboard and Touch ID. The battery life is significantly better than the previous model, and it is recommended for video editing. However, the lack of an updated display and the transition for third-party apps may cause some issues. Overall, it is worth the money, but an improved display would have been appreciated.
