The HTC U12 Plus has a striking design and impressive features, including a powerful camera and fast performance, but falls short in some areas such as the front-facing camera and AI assistant. The biggest issue, however, is the inconsistency of the pressure-sensitive buttons, which can hinder basic functionality. HTC is aware of the issue and plans to release a post-launch update to address it. Until then, it's hard to recommend this phone over others on the market.
