The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is a well-rounded phone with a striking design and impressive performance. Despite some sacrifices, it is more appealing than last year's S20 and is worth the money. The camera is good, especially the ultra wide, but some issues remain with skin tones. The new Director's View feature is a surprising bonus. The display is excellent, with an adaptive refresh rate, although it is a step down from the S20's quad HD resolution. Battery life is decent, and the software is optimized for better battery management. The Smart Tag is a cool addition, but its usefulness depends on long-term use. Overall, the S21 is a good balance of price and features, with room for improvement with the addition of a micro sd card slot.
