The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a solid flagship device with good camera performance, excellent battery life, and a premium feel. However, the lack of innovation, slow fast charging, and high price tag make it hard to justify an upgrade from the S22 or S21. The fingerprint scanner and software decisions are also drawbacks, but the display and snappy performance make it a contender for the best compact-sized flagship of 2023.
