The Galaxy Note 8 is a great smartphone that checks four out of the five pillars of a great smartphone. The design is premium, the display is the best in any smartphone, the camera is one of the best, and the performance is great. However, the battery life is lacking and requires intermittent charging throughout the day. The extras that come with the phone, such as the s-pen, iris scanner, and expandable storage, make it stand out from other phones. Overall, it is still a great buy for those looking for the most complete phone, but the Galaxy S8 Plus offers a very similar experience at a lower cost.
