The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has a beautiful design with a refined infinity display and a great variable aperture camera. The phone is durable but may need protection with a case and a screen protector. The software is similar to other Samsung phones but the performance is excellent with great RAM management. The extra features such as super slow-mo, intelligent scan, and Samsung pay are appreciated. The stereo speakers are also the best ever on Samsung phones. The battery life is average but sufficient for most users. The camera is great for nighttime photos but the front-facing camera needs improvement. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is a solid phone for Samsung enthusiasts but may not be worth the upgrade for users of the S8 Plus or Note 8.
