The GoPro Hero 7 black is a worthwhile upgrade for those with a Hero 5 black or those who shoot in 4k 60 often. The hyper smooth stabilization feature is a big win and the time warp feature is convenient. The new menu design is organized and the photo timer is a useful addition. The audio has noticeably improved and the compatibility with the Karma grip and drone is appreciated. The automatic HDR photo feature needs improvement and the aesthetic design may not hold up well over time. GoPro may need to make drastic changes for next year's model.
