The GoPro Hero 7 white was disappointing when it was first released and still has major faults such as a non-removable battery and lack of certain recording modes. However, firmware updates have fixed some previous problems, and the camera is still reliable and durable, with good audio and video capabilities. At its list price of $199, it's not recommended, but if found on sale for $100 or less, it's worth considering as there's still not much competition offering similar functionality at that price point.
